Cascade Garden Apartments is a small holiday accommodation on Norfolk Island. It is a development of 5 self-contained holiday apartments with onsite managers Ash & Marie who take great pride in offering some of the best self-catering accommodations on Norfolk Island.
Situated on New Cascade Road, overlooking Cascade Valley Reserve with ocean views of the South Pacific, we have One – Studio, Three – One Bedroom, and One – Two Bedroom self-contained apartments. These Norfolk Island holiday apartments are set in beautifully kept gardens in a tranquil location. We are just a 10/15 minute short walk to town, where you can find restaurants, clubs, and a local shopping center.
The Managers can organise your transfer to the property from the airport and if a hire car is included in your package, will also arrange to have your car ready and waiting for you to explore the island at your own pace. A five-night or more stay booked directly through our website, you will receive a complimentary bottle of chilled wine on your arrival to help you unwind after your travels. All our holiday apartments have a hair dryer in the bathroom.
Like most hotels we also supply large beach towels as well as bathroom towels for your stay.
Like most Norfolk Island accommodation, we also supply you with some coffee, tea, sugar, and some toilet paper to get you started in your self-contained apartment. Of course, bring your favourite coffee or tea if you have a preference.
We do encourage you to bring your favourite cereals, snacks etc as you may not find the same brand on Norfolk Island or not in stock. You are allowed to bring in foods that are professionally packaged from the supermarket including deli foods/meats that are still wrapped and labelled with the Deli sticker. All professionally packaged dairy foods from Australia are allowed. The only foods that are ‘NOT’ permitted are Honey, Meats that have fresh herbs (e.g fresh rosemary on lamb) and fresh fruit and vegetables. If you are travelling from New Zealand, please check the guidelines as there are some items listed above that are not permitted to enter Norfolk Island from New Zealand.
You will not get global roaming here on Norfolk Island. With some phones and providers, you may still receive text messages and calls over the Wi-Fi. Unlike most hotels, we do provide a mobile phone for your use so you can call local numbers to book restaurants, tours etc. You just pay for calls made at the same price that Norfolk Telecom charges us. Alternatively, you can purchase a Local Sim for $30 which will give you 2GB of data, local calls and texts and a small amount of call time to Australia.
We do recommend you do book as certain times of the year are busy and book out ahead of time. Contact us for any assistance or recommendations.
You do need a vehicle to get around Norfolk Island. Norfolk has a lot of driving roads and is very hilly in places. We strongly recommend booking a hire car as soon as you’ve booked your accommodation as they too can book out ahead of time. We can assist you with this as well.
